THE DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES
DLSU Libraries is an academic library that was originally established in 1956. Today, it has evolved into a centralized system composed of the Manila Campus or the Learning Commons, where we had our internship, the Laguna campus, Makati, and Taguig. The Learning Commons moved to its new home, the Henry Sy Building, in 2012. The Learning Commons occupies half of the fifteen-storey building, from the 5th floor to the 14th floor.

The DLSU Libraries ENVIRONMENT
Before starting, I was jokingly asking Prof. Carlo to choose me to be one of the lucky interns to experience the internship in DLSU just so that I could look for cute guys. Luckily, I was chosen, but that's when I always feel like I am on needles and pins. I was so nervous and self-conscious at the same time. Like, it's the De La Salle University. Of course, it's intimidating. But I am so wrong with. When I entered the university, I felt like I was part of it. The librarians are accommodating. Never in my experience there that I encountered a librarian or staff boasting themselves or treating u poorly just because we're interns.
PROCEED WITH MY REFLECTION
With my four weeks of stay there, the DLSU Libraries made sure that I grasped knowledge and experience from their library practices and processes. It made my internship journey exceptional and one of a kind. Read my reflection on what I experienced, encountered, and learned on the DLSU Libraries.
